[Review] Eyeshadow Primer: Shadow Insurace by Too Faced

Eyeshadow primer? What's that? Why would an eyeshadow needs primer, isn't foundation is enough? And so many more questions..

Let me tell you, if you really love to play around with eyeshadow, this is a must item that you should have!

Me too, didn't realize the importance of this product until I attended the makeup class. Basically eyeshadow primer main function is to holds the products (eyeshadow) on your eyelid longer. Our eyes area are oily especially if you are always actively move here and there. Beside that, it also makes the eyeshadow color more bold, shows its real color, make it looks more intense.

I've been using this for my makeup class and also for myself, especially I have a long day and in evening I have to go for dinner. It works absolutely amazing.

My current obsession is with the 'Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti Creased Eye Shadow Primer'.

Too Faced - Shadow Insurance Anti Creased Eye Shadow Primer

A featherweight primer that creates a perfect canvas for cream and powder shadows. Eye shadows are intensified, crease-proofed and ready for action for 24+ hours; because you never know how long the night will last.

More to love!
❤ Intensifies Shadow Color
❤ 24-hour Wear
❤ Waterproof
❤ Crease-proof, fade-proof
❤ Colorless Formula

Tube Packaging

I really love tube packaging as it controls the quantity that we would like to have and also hygiene purpose.

Swatch

It looks kinda shimmery and not nude at all when the first time you apply, but after it blends well. Those shimmery and nude colors are gone. Very light primer, usually I apply this after foundation + powder. Sounds weird, but it holds the eyeshadow powder longer.

Intensifies Shadow Color

Was using Naked 3 - Mugshot

Beside these, there are many brands of Too Faced, but I love these so much. I haven't tried Urban Decay, but my friend whom has very oily eye area told me it doesn't work at all for her. And the best brand for her is NARS.

Again, these are very subjective, may suite some people, some may not. But I hope it will help you guys! :)

XOXO,
Jess
